How to add new users to Fingertip? (Classic)

Once you have your Fingertip org you will very soon want to have your colleagues to join the collaboration and get access to the decisions you are working on. For that you need to be the administrator of your Fingertip org and follow the next steps.

On Classic:
  1. Go to Setup from top
  2. From the bar on the left, go to Manage Users => Users
  3. Click on New User



On Lightning:
  1. Go to Setup from top right corner (cogwheel).
  2. From the bar on the left, go to Users => Users.
  3. Click on New User
 


The create user page is the same in Classic and Lightning.
 
  • Put in all the relevant details and remember to select the correct license and profile.
  • The required details are marked with red.
     
Remember, that the username should be in the form of an email (example@something.com), but do NOT use the same as in the email address field.

For User Licence and Profile, go with:
  • User License: Salesforce Platform
  • Profile: Fingertip User




Now that you have created your users you need to give them access to Fingertip for that you will have to follow 2 steps:

Assign them the Fingertip Access Permission 
Assign the Fingertip License to the users
